Founded
in 1983
Prior to founding Langworthy Company, Joe was a
turnaround
professional with a venture capital firm that specialized in acquiring
mismanaged businesses and broadcasting and cable properties. From 1985
- 1997, he was a professor in
the Special Programs Department at Kent State University, Stark County Ohio
branch teaching classes on Sales Marketing, Leadership and Management Methods.
Joe is a sought
after speaker on various matters related to small business growth and development. He
currently is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies.
During his earlier career Joe held various positions including
Director of Sales and Marketing, Executive Vice President and President & CEO. He has
personally advised over 250 Midwest firms and companies since founding Langworthy Company
in Canton, Ohio, USA.
