Founded in 1983

Prior to founding Langworthy Company, Joe was a turnaround professional for a venture capital firm specializing in acquiring mismanaged businesses, broadcasting and cable properties. From 1985 - 1997, he was a professor in the Special Programs Department at Kent State University, Stark County Ohio branch teaching classes on Sales Marketing, Leadership and Management Methods. Joe is a sought after speaker on various matters related to small business growth and development. He currently is a member of the Board of Directors of several companies and Christian organizations.

During his earlier career Joe held various positions including Director of Sales and Marketing, Executive Vice President and President & CEO. He has personally advised over 350 Midwest firms and companies since founding Langworthy Company in Canton, Ohio, USA. (See our company brochure)
